CAGE WARRIORS CEO Graham Boylan has opted to award two Submission of the Night bonuses for Cage Warriors 49.
The event, which took place in Cardiff, Wales last Saturday night, featured 10 professional bouts, five of which ended via submission.
The Cage Warriors boss has subsequently decided to award two bonuses for Submission of the Night, with Boylan personally covering the cost of doubling the regular bonuses as announced before the show.
The bonuses have been handed to Martin McDonough and Merv Mulholland for their respective victories over Dino Gambatesa and Daniel Thomas.
McDonough made an impressive Cage Warriors debut to take his record to 9-4, submitting fellow Welshman Gambatesa via armbar after 1:53 of round one of their Facebook prelim.
Mulholland (10-4) went to 2-0 on Cage Warriors by overcoming Thomas on the main card. The 21-year-old Northern Irishman combined a triangle with some vicious strikes to win by technical submission after 1:22 of round one.
It was decided by Graham Boylan and Cage Warriors officials not to award bonuses for Fight or KO of the Night.
