Cage Warriors 47
THE Cage Warriors team have arrived in Dublin this week for our seventh show of the year, CWFC 47, which takes place at The Helix in the Irish capital on Saturday night.
Two CWFC titles will be up for grabs, with Mike Hayes (18-4-1, pictured) making his debut defence of the heavyweight belt against DJ Linderman (11-3-0), after Conor McGregor (10-2-0) takes on Dave Hill (10-2-0) in his hometown for the vacant featherweight strap.
Adding to the strong Dublin flavour on the card, local favourite Aisling Daly (13-2-0) faces Rosi Sexton (12-2-0) for the right to tackle Sheila Gaff for the CWFC women’s flyweight title, and Cathal Pendred (9-2-1) squares off against Swedish UFC veteran David Bielkheden (17-10-0).
Kicking off the main card, which airs outside the Republic of Ireland on MMAJunkie.com at 9pm (UK), Dublin flyweight Neil Seery (9-9-0) fights Mark Platts (10-7-0).
The main card will be preceded by three Facebook prelims at 8pm (Jack Mason v Tommy Quinn | Brett Sizeland v Victor Peixoto | Paul Redmond v Yuri Malko), while the evening’s action will begin at 6.30pm with four amateur bouts (Denis Perry v Konrad Iwanowski | Sean Tobin v Tony Keane | Kieran O’Brien v Martin Downey | Stephen Owens v Cormac Copeland).
The Cage Warriors live online stream on MMAJunkie.com will not be available to viewers in the Republic of Ireland, so the only way for Irish fans to see the action live is to be there!
A limited number of tickets are still available to be purchased HERE, but don’t leave it too late or you risk being disappointed. Doors at The Helix (DCU, Collins Avenue, Glasnevin, Dublin 9) open at 6pm.
Weigh-ins for Cage Warriors 47 take place at 3pm on Friday at the Roganstown Hotel in Swords.
