Cage Warriors boss completes Fiore MMA takeover
THE renowned Fiore MMA training facility in Springfield, Illinois has been taken over by the MMA Clinic/Warrior Promotions group, which is headed up by Cage Warriors director Graham Boylan.
As part of the deal, Marc Fiore’s gym will now come under the MMA Clinic umbrella, while Warrior Promotions Fighter Management (WPFM) will take over its client list.
Marc Fiore will remain with the company as a full-time trainer and fighter manager. WPFM now has more than 50 fighters competing for the UFC, Bellator, Strikeforce and Cage Warriors.
“We’re a powerhouse in fighter management,” said Boylan said. “Our fighters now have six gyms in four different countries to train in. They also have a clear path to continue their careers in training and fighter management once they’re done fighting.
“This really is the perfect marriage for us,” Boylan said. “We’ve worked closely with Marc for four years. He’s one of the better managers out there. It’s a proper marriage.”
The MMA Clinic now has gyms in the USA, UK, Ireland and Australia, having also recently opened a new facility in Perth.
Fiore MMA fighters such as Dustin Jacoby and Jake Hecht have recently signed with the UFC, while Brian Foster has linked up with Bellator.
