Cage Warriors Win UK Promotion of the Year At The MMAHitPit.com Awards

07/01/2009

The people have spoken and Cage Warriors have claimed another two awards this week, as the growing UK MMA fansite MMAHitPit.com released the results of its 2008 awards (which had been voted on by MMA fans around the Country).

Once again the hard work and determination of the Cage Warriors team has paid off and has been noticed by the people that matter, as the Midlands based organisation won both the “UK Promotion of the Year” Award and the “UK event of the Year” Award for their epic “Enter The Rough House 7” event, which saw the likes of Paul “Semtex” Daley, Jim Wallhead, Simeon Thoresen and many more top rated European stars in action.

When hearing the news Andy Lillis (Warrior Promotions/Cage Warriors Director) posted on the Cagewarriors.com forums and said “Thanks everyone who voted for these awards, (we are) really pleased that the fans thought so much about what Cage Warriors achieved last year. Thanks to MMAHitPit.com for putting these awards together.”

Again everybody at Cage Warriors and Warrior Promotions would like to thank those fans that voted for us and for the good people at www.mmahitpit.com for taking time out to acknowledge the people who are working hard to promote MMA here in the UK and we hope to continue the good work in 2009.
