In Cage Warriors’ final event of 2016, it turned out to be a long night for the defending CWFC champions as both Paddy Pimblett and Chris Fishgold each required the full five rounds to retain their featherweight and lightweight titles. The event was broadcast live from BT Sport’s Studios and was also available live on UFC Fightpass and Viasat in Scandinavia.

Pimblett (13-1) was making the first defence of his featherweight title and was tested throughout the contest by American Julian Erosa (17-4) - the judges delivered an unanimous decision win for 21-year old Pimblett.

Nic Herron-Webb (19-8) proved a tough opponent for Chris Fishgold (17-1-1), who hadn’t fought beyond the first round in his five previous bouts.  The judges scored a decision win to champ Fishgold who is now riding a seven-fight win streak.

Welterweights Che Mills (16-9) and Matt Inman (19-8) featured in a bloody battle as Mills cut Inman above the eye early in the first round.  However at 4:09 of the second, Inman managed to sink in a triangle choke to end the contest and take the win – his first for the promotion.

Here’s a look at the rest of the results from CW Unplugged – BT Sport Studios, London.
