CAGE WARRIORS can today announce details of the next show on our busy 2012 schedule, CWFC Fight Night 6, which will take place in Bahrain on Thursday, May 24.

As revealed recently, the CWFC welterweight title will be at stake in the Fight Night 6 main event, when champion Gael Grimaud (14-5-0) makes his first defence of the belt against former UFC competitor Jesse Taylor (20-8-0).

Another addition to the card can now be revealed for Cage Warriors’ first show in Bahrain, which will be the organisation’s sixth of 2012.

Welshman John Phillips (14-5-0-1nc) will have the opportunity to bounce back from his recent middleweight tournament semi-final loss to Pavel Kusch when he faces 27-year-old Czech fighter Tomas Penz (8-5-0).

Several more fight announcements for CWFC Fight Night 6 will be made shortly, so keep track of Cage Warriors on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and updates.

Meanwhile, due to logistical reasons, some changes have been made to the schedule for Cage Warriors’ 2012 world tour.

Because of the demands placed on staff during an extremely busy period for the organisation, as well as difficulties related to travel from London approaching the Olympic Games, the events planned for Poland and Ukraine have now been postponed.

However, two further shows will be added to the schedule in their place later in the year.
