CWFC links up with the Daily Mail
Cage Warriors Fighting Championship will join forces with the Daily Mail for what’s shaping up to be a very exciting month of November for Europe’s leading MMA promotion.
The UK’s second biggest-selling daily newspaper, with a circulation of over 1.7 million copies each day, the Daily Mail also attracts over 100 million unique visitors to its web platform, the Mail Online, every month.
In addition to releasing exclusive CWFC video content and breaking news, the Mail Online will host live streams of Cage Warriors’ two eagerly-anticipated events in November.
Starting on Saturday, November 1, with Cage Warriors 73 at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena, and followed by Cage Warriors 74 at the Copper Box in London on November 15, fans will be able to watch the action live on the Daily’s Mail’s website - DailyMail.co.uk.
This live stream will exclude the territories of North America and Scandinavia, where existing deals are already in place with MMAjunkie and ViaPlay respectively.
The deal marks the beginning of what Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan hopes will develop into a long and successful relationship between the Daily Mail and CWFC.
Boylan said: “I’ve always been impressed by the Daily Mail’s digital content and wide reach, so I’m very pleased that we’ll now be working alongside them and I’m sure our relationship will be extremely successful for both parties.
“We are trialling this partnership for now in order to make our own content and broadcasts even more accessible to our existing fans, as well as showing the newer generation of fans exactly what makes MMA the most exciting sport in the world.”
