Engberg Withdraws Due To Injury. Leaves Winner Without A Bout At K-1 Scandinavia

Warrior Promotions are sad to announce the Lightweight bout between Team Rough House fighter Andre Winner and the Swedish Submission expert Joakim Engberg which was due to take place at the K-1 Rumble of the Arctic show, has been cancelled due to the home fighter suffering a late injury.

Both the Warrior Promotions team and the event promoter tried to reach an agreement on a replacement fighter, with the Swedish Welterweight Reza Madadi being touted as a possible opponent. However he could not make an acceptable catchweight in time.

However the relationship between all sides still remains amiable and it is hoped both sides can work together again in the near future.
