Graham Turner Speaks To MMA Hit Pit About His CWFC 40 Title Fight

The UK based website MMA Hit Pit spoke to Graham “Afterburner” Turner (16-6-1) just after it was announced he would be challenging the reigning CWFC Featherweight Champion Danny Batten (13-5-3) at Cage Warriors 40 on February 26th at the HMV Forum in London, England.

Turner, who is represented by Warrior Promotions Fighter Management and fights out of the Dinky Ninja Fight Team and Lanark MMA, is a five year veteran of the sport and is currently ranked seventh in the Your MMA British Featherweight rankings. Unbeaten at 145lbs, Turner is known for his striking, which has seen 12 of his wins come by TKO against both domestic and international opposition.

As the BodogFIGHT, Elite XC and Bellator FC veteran Rosi “The Surgeon” Sexton (11-2) takes on the Japanese based American, Strikeforce veteran Roxanne Modafferi (15-6) in a ‘Super Flyweight’ Bout, matched at 125lbs/ 56.7kg.

This event also features a full professional card consisting of the usual CWFC mix of experienced UK and European talent alongside up-and-coming domestic talent.
