Cage Warriors Fight Night 1 Results

This past Thursday saw the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship make their Middle East debut, as the exclusive event centre inside Le Royal Hotel in Amman, Jordan played host to an exhilarating night of Mixed Martial arts action.

This event was streamed live around the world via CageWarriors.com and was broadcast on Television via Premier Sports TV (UK), Setanta Sports 1 (Ireland), Setanta Africa (Africa), The Fight Network (Canada), and Fight Now TV (USA).

The card kicked off with seven ‘local feature bouts’ which highlighted up-and-coming talent from the Middle East and North Africa region before the glamorous event ended with the six International televised bouts.

The local feature bouts were held under CWFC Amateur rules over 3x3 Minute Rounds



Bout 1- Middleweight
 Thabet Aga defeated Mohammad Youssef via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) after 1:07 of round 2



Bout 2 - Catchweight Bout set at 137.7lbs. 
Mohammad Wasfi defeated Mohammad Abdul Atheem via Judges Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after 3 rounds



Bout 3 - Flyweight
 Jahal Deaja and Ahmad Sayed Hassan battled to a Majority Draw over 3 rounds (29-29, 29-29, 29-30)



Bout 4 - Middleweight
 Timoor Narmeq defeated Radwan Meri via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) after 1:36 of round 1 



Bout 5 - Light-Heavyweight
 Ihab Janeb defeated Eslam Salama via Guillotine Choke after 1:47 of round 1 


Bout 6 - Light-Heavyweight 
Mohammad Ali defeated Makram Sanouni via Unanimous Decision after 3 rounds (30-27, 30-27, 30-26)



Bout 7 - Catchweight set at 196lbs, 
Mohammad Sarsar defeated Yazan Janeb via TKO (Punches) after 2:07 of round 2

 

Main Card

All the televised bouts were held under CWFC Professional rules over 3x5 Minute Rounds.


Lightweight - 
Leon Del Gaudio defeated Pat Vickers via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-28) after 3 rounds.

Middleweight
 - John Michael Sheil defeated Victor Cheng via TKO (Punches) after 0:47 of round 3 



Heavyweight - 
Dave “The Iron Giant” Keeley defeated Joel Wyatt via KO (Elbows) after 2:50 of round 2



Lightweight
 - Jean “The Show” N’Doye defeated Dan Hope via TKO (Punches) after 3:55 of round 3



Middleweight
 - Jake “Hitman” Hecht defeated Michele Verginelli via Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-25) after 3 rounds

>Verginelli was deducted a point in the first round



Heavyweight
 - Andreas “Big Daddy” Kraniotakes defeated Jay “Mean Streak” Mortimore via TKO (Punches / Ground and Pound) after 4:14 of round 3
