Warrior Promotions MMA (UK) Limited are sad to announce that Jim Wallhead has relinquished his Cage Gladiators Welterweight British Title. Both Wallhead and his management team decided this would the best course of action due to the scheduling conflicts caused by the ever-increasing number of UK MMA shows.

Wallhead (11-4-0) has not defended his Title since he defeated (the now UFC veteran) Jason Tan last September in Liverpool, England at Cage Gladiators 2. After discussions with Cage Gladiators Promoter Chris Zorba, both Warrior Promotions and Wallhead have decided that relinquishing the Title would be the fairest option as Wallhead will not be available to defend his Title on the forthcoming Cage Gladiators show in November due to commitments in both October and December.

Both Warrior Promotions and Jim Wallhead would like to state that this decision was made amicably and all sides look forward to work with each other in the future.

However Jim Wallhead will still be fighting at Cage Warriors: Enter The Rough House 4 on October 14th
