On December 13th 2009, the biggest Bantamweight bout to take place on European soil will land here in Norwich. Paul “Metabolic” McVeigh (15-5-0) who is the European #1 and without question one of the best Bantamweight fighters in the world today, will be facing off against Swedish superstar Musse Hasselvall (3-1-0-1nc) in what is all set to be one of the world’s classic MMA bouts .

Paul McVeigh was originally pencilled in to fight American Top Team standout Chris Manuel. Unfortunately Chris Manuel now needs surgery on a hand injury picked up whilst preparing for this bout and will no longer be able to compete. Musse Hasslevall (3-1-0) is an international Judoka and multiple European champion. As well as being a formidable opponent in the cage, Musse Hasslevall has found fame both on the big screen and on Swedish national television with his award winning combat sports series Rallarsving.

However Paul McVeigh is the fight that the Swedish and European fans wanted and this bout has brought Musse Hasslevall out of retirement. “Paul is the best there is pound for pound in Europe and to be the best I have to beat the best. This is the only fight out there that I would take. Its going to be the toughest bout of my life but I can assure all my fans and the MMA world that come December 13th, I will be ready and will be returning to Sweden with the win.”

Paul McVeigh (15-5-0) needs no introduction, he is the best that Europe has to offer and is truly one of the world’s most elite fighters. The bout with Musse Hasslevall is surely the last stop in Europe for Paul before he moves to the big show.

This bout is one that can not be missed and will surely go down in the history books as one of the classics. To make sure you don’t miss this bout book your tickets now via
