Warrior Promotions Fighter Management To Sponsor McVeigh and Turner

09/03/2011

Warrior Promotions Fighter Management are pleased to announce they will be sponsoring two of their fighters as they cross the Atlantic later this month to try out for the 14th season of the UFC’s “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show.

The MMA scene has been buzzing ever since the UFC announced an open casting call last week for Bantamweights and Featherweights to try out for a place on the successful long running reality show in New Jersey on March 21st. The UK MMA scene in particular as seen much conjuncture take place on internet forums and social networking sites as reporters and fans alike tried to predict which home based fighters will take their chance at stardom by entering the long running TV series.

Soon enough several UK fighters posted messages online stating their intention to follow in the footsteps of the current British UFC stars Michael “The Count” Bisping and Ross “The Real Deal” Pearson, who both walked away with multi year big money contracts with the UFC after winning their division in Season’s 3 and 9 respectively.

Now Warrior Promotions are pleased to announce they have managed to secure sponsorship to send the number 1 unsigned European Bantamweight and current Cage Warriors Champion Paul “Metabolic” McVeigh (18-6) and the exciting Scottish Featherweight Graham “Afterburner” Turner (17-6-1) to the “Ultimate Fighter” try-outs in under three weeks time.

Both men are coming off impressive wins at Cage Warriors 40 last month, which saw McVeigh TKO the German Judoka Andreas Bernhard in round two of their Title clash. Whilst Turner worked his way to a convincing unanimous decision win over the tough Lithuanian Shooto veteran Antanas Jazbutis. Both fighters gained valuable exposure due to the recent TV deals that Cage Warriors have stuck and also due to the event being streamed live around the world on the Internet.

Now thanks to their management team, both men now have the chance to make an impression in-front of UFC and Spike TV officials, as they attempt to win a place on the hit US reality TV show later this month. Everybody at Warrior Promotions Fighter Management wishes both men the very best of luck.
