CAGE WARRIORS fans in the UK & Ireland will finally get the chance to check out Saturday’s main-card action from CWFC Fight Night 7 in Amman, Jordan when the show is broadcast on Sky Sports 3 tonight (Wednesday) at 11pm.

The organisation’s ninth event of 2012 is must-see-TV, as yet another stacked Cage Warriors card lived up to its high expectations.

The climax saw Chris Fields take on Pavel Kusch for the CWFC middleweight title, with a new champion crowned after the bout ended with a third-round TKO.

The two-hour show will kick off with a superb bantamweight encounter between James Brum and James Saville. There was little to separate the pair over the three rounds, leaving a difficult decision in the hands of the judges.

That’s followed by another bantamweight bout between Liam James and Olivier Pastor, which ended with a clinical submission in the second round.

Leonardo Santos and UFC veteran Mark Holst will be up next. Holst is keen to return to the top, but would the BJJ legend have too much for the Canadian when the fight went to ground?

The next bout on tonight’s show picked up ‘Fight of the Night’ honours. Mohsen Bahari and Piotr Ptasinski slugged it out on their feet for three rounds, as our judges were again left with much to ponder.

The penultimate bout will see Jim Alers aim to cement his status as the top contender in the CWFC featherweight division against Marcio Cesar, a clash that champion Conor McGregor is certain to be keeping a close eye on.

So set your reminders now, get yourself in front of a TV and tune in to Sky Sports 3 at 11pm (UK) tonight to savour two hours of world class mixed martial arts.

In the meantime, check out some behind-the-scenes CWFC Fight Night 7 footage from Cage Warriors’ Tommy Lakes…
