Wayne Buck Out Of Cage Warriors: Enter The Rough House 6

11/03/2008

The CWFC are sad to announce that Wayne Buck has been forced to withdraw from their ‘Enter The Rough House’ 6 card due to injury. This is a big disappointment to Cage Warriors and their loyal Nottingham fans, as Wayne Buck is a popular local figure and is vastly experienced in combat sports due to his background in Professional boxing.

Buck (4-0-0) has previously appeared at Cage Warriors: Enter The Rough House 1, 2 and 5 and has yet to go past round 1 in his professional MMA career. He was due to face the Muay Thai stylist Steve Murphy (2-0-0) from Machine Martial Arts in Bournemouth; on April 19th, in what would have been a fantastic stand-up battle.

However Buck injured himself in his last bout at KOTR where he defeated the Total Combat European Heavyweight Champion Svajunas Siaucila by TKO, and has re-injured himself in training this past week. The CWFC Team wish Wayne a speedy recovery and hope to have him back at Cage Warriors as soon as possible.

Nevertheless the CWFC team will now look for a replacement fighter for Steve Murphy and hope to announce his new opponent soon.
